The Aqua Park or Octopus Park is located in Playa de Las Americas, you will find it by exit 29 of the TF 1 by San Eugenio. It is one of the most exiting places in Tenerife and has a large number of water slides, big swimming pools, diving boards and fabulous dolphin shows. Sun beds are not included in the entry price and you need to rent these by the day. Once inside the park there is a whole range of slides, pools, restaurants, snack area’s and cafes to choose from. I personally cant recommend the food inside for quality or price, better to take a packed lunch. There are also lockers available inside to store your valuables but again there is a charge. There are different age group water rides so the younger children can enjoy their day out as much as their big brothers and sisters. The more adventurous rides: Kamikaze, super slalom, Twister, Anaconda and Crazy Race but to name a few. Feel the speed of the kamikaze and climb aboard the Pirate Galleon and have an adventure.
The Dolphinarium shows what skills and talent the dolphins have as they are well trained, you will be surprised at what they can do. The Dolphinarium is at the other side of the Aqua Park reached by a pathway. The park has 10 Bottle nose dolphins of which five were born in the parks facilities. This is where holiday makers flock to, to have a fun and exiting day out. There are two daily shows on week days and one on Saturdays. Residents can get a discount just take photocopies of Residencia and Passport.
