Loro Parque can be found in the North of Tenerife at Puerto de la Cruz, it specialises in Parrot’s and has the world’s largest Parrot collection. It is not only Parrots that you will find at Loro Parque you will find all sorts of exotic animals there such as Tigers, Gorillas, Chimpanzees etc.
You will be able to walk through one of the longest underwater walkways through a shark and fish filled aquarium. At Loro Parque you will also see a Penguin “Island” where snow falls on the ice. Loro Parque also has 4 captive bred Orca’s which are a recent addition to their collection
There are also round the clock shows which include Sea-Lions, Dolphin and Parrot’s. Around the Park are paths which meander from exhibit to exhibit and a plentiful supply of Restaurants. If you visit Loro Parque get there early and spend the full day as there is plenty to see.
