Palm Mar is Tenerife’s biggest secret, there are not many signposts to Palm Mar and the road ends at Palm Mar. Originally built in the 1960’s with just a few independent Villa’s with not much of a road to Palm Mar. In the last few years the developers entered Palm Mar and have built many high class apartments, a road infrastructure and a wonderful sea front promenade. Palm Mar is classed as Residential so you will not find Hotels or lots of late night bars. It is a tranquil backwater and a safe and wonderful place to live. When entering Palm Mar you pass beneath a miniature version of the famous Marbella Arch and drive down a wide road flanked by Palm trees. Palm Mar has a number of restaurants including Spanish, English, Italian, Belgium, Chinese and Indian. There are also some Bars serving snacks around the Town and a Supermarket (Coviran) and a Bank (Santander). If you are looking to live in Tenerife or want a property for long peaceful holidays or retirement Palm Mar can offer you everything if you like peace and quiet. It is a very safe place to live and a place where everyone knows you. Currently with the dramatic property price reductions you can certainly pick up a bargain in Palm Mar and because Palm Mar is very much up and coming you will see healthy rewards on your investment in future years.
