Palm Mar is currently in the process of being developed, it is being transformed into a delightful resort which is considered mainly for residential purposes only so you will not find Hotels and loud music there. Over the next few years the area will be transformed with new developments, shops and Banks being completed. Palm Mar is located just 15 minutes away from Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos and is situated between a nature reserve and the Guaza Mountain. Just completed is a pleasant sea front promenade and eventually a beach front project which will include natural sea water pools. A water taxi to Los Cristianos is scheduled to start soon along with construction of a Leisure and Sports Centre. Palm Mar is certainly forecast as one of the more up and coming residential areas on the island and is forecast to be the new Marbella of Tenerife.
