Siam Park in Playa de Las Americas is the latest theme park due to be opened in Tenerife and is being built by the same family who own Loro Parque. It is of Thai design and is said to have 20 attractions within the complex. Its location is around 5 minutes walk from Playa Faņabe beach and will have a Cannon Ball ride and a wave pool which can generate waves up to 3 metres high which should please the surfers. It will also have a pool into which you can dive from 28 metres. Around the Park their is a slow river where families can either cruise in a boat or a giant donut. The building of the Park should be completed by December 2006 and will open a few months after. Once it has opened we will be posting photographs and further information.
Update - This project seems to be well behind schedule as currently as you drive along the TF-1 you can see that they are still at work building the park.
Update - The slip road into the Park has now been tarmac, not long now
